What Should I Expect When I Visit? It is our goal at Trinity
to welcome and help you this weekend just as Jesus would have welcomed and
helped you. You can expect to be
greeted by an usher as you enter our church who will welcome you with a
smile, give you a worship booklet, and may even ask you to sign a guest book. You can expect to
experience a variety of worship styles throughout the year. Some Sundays we will worship in the ancient
and lovely ways of canting and meaningful hymns. Other Sundays we will raise the roof with
guitar led song, dramatic readings, and childlike prayer. Night services will fill your spirit in
meditative ways. The worship booklet will
have the entire service printed except for the songs/hymns. These may be found in either the green or
the blue books where you are seated. Song numbers are listed
up front on the wall. Expect to get somewhat
lost in the service. This is
fine. In fact, take the time to lose
yourself in the service and in God. Do not worry about
contributing to the offering, we want you to get something out of the
service; we don’t desire anything but enjoyment out of you. The community itself gives the offering. You can expect to be
invited up to the Lord’s Supper and are welcome to join us if you are comfortable. Most of all, you can
expect to find a loving and caring community.
Feel free to ask questions of anyone around you. |
